Tonight the Philadelphia Flyers play Game 1 in the Eastern Finals of the Stanley Cups play-offs. The Flyers are just the third team in NHL history to come from behind a 3-0 deficit and win the series, not to mention in Game 7 the Flyers won 4-3 where they trailed 3-1 in the first period against the Boston Bruins. The Flyers are a relentless team that have the potential and will to win their series against the Montreal Canadiens.  Both teams are dealing with injuries to their star players Jeff Carter (Flyers) and Andrei Markov (Habs), but both teams have shown remarkable competitiveness to not quit and knock off the top seeds this year in the play offs.

This is the only time in NHL history a 7th & 8th seed have played each other in the Eastern Finals. My prediction is that the Flyers will beat the Canadiens in 6-7 games. Philly is rolling on a high confidence streak after coming from behind 3-0 against Boston, on the other hand Montreal also has momentum after beating heavily favorite Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals , and the defending Stanley Cup champions the Pittsburgh Penguins. After being the third team in history especially right now in Sports to come from behind three games the odds are pretty much in the Flyers favor to win and a chance at the Stanley Cup.
